This weeks Up-and-coming artist Leondro knows his city. Coming up in the inner city, he knows about the pitfalls associated with some of the harshest neighbourhoods in Toronto, but the 28-year-old rapper shares his views of hope through his music, and various charitable organizations.

His singles Hunnit, Super Big, and Girl You the Ish, have gotten him nominations for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year at the CUT Hip-Hop Awards. Among those nominations, The Toronto Independent Music Awards have him in the running for Urban Artist of the Year. You can download his latest single featuring Dru, Love Me So Good.
